Endangered heritage

The ‘Endangered Heritage’ section is dedicated to identifying, documenting, and publicly highlighting cultural heritage in Bosnia and Herzegovina that is under threat from decay, inadequate interventions, neglect, or deliberate endangerment.

The aim of the section is to professionally inform the public and initiate dialogue, as well as to prepare relevant cases that can be forwarded to the international ICOMOS network through the Heritage Alert mechanism, with the intention of assessing endangered assets in a broader international context and supporting appropriate models for their protection.
